Celebrate Red Cedar Awards

You can host your own local event to celebrate Canadian authors and readers. Consider a small function with your school, or a larger gathering with other Red Cedar groups in your area!

Battle of the Books in Prince George is a great example of how you can celebrate Red Cedar Reading.

On a smaller scale, try hosting a Red Cedar event with:

  • A pizza party
  • a character or book theme party
  • themed foods and drinks!
  • themed decorations
  • arts and crafts projects
  • activities or games

We would love to post ideas or video links to your events, so please contact us!

Here’s to another great year of Red Cedar Awards!
